Prime Contractors Seek Small Businesses at Alliance

Small businesses throughout the Pacific NW say that the number one benefit of attending Alliance on March 10th in Puyallup, Washington is the networking with prime contractors and government buyers.  “Government and large businesses genuinely want to connect with qualified small and diverse businesses.  They come from all over the region to network” explains Tiffany Scroggs, Director of Washington PTAC.  Kiewit Infrastructure West’s contract administrator Dennis Ahl explains why he invests time and money into Alliance:

“I attend quite a few Small & Disadvantaged Business outreach and training events each year in Puget Sound and the Portland/Vancouver area, and I tell the Small business owners and representatives that the Alliance event in Puyallup is THE event of the year and  the one they should attend to be able to meet and network with the largest number of Prime Contractor and Public Agency representatives.”

Most of the networking happens in the isles of the tradeshow, but small businesses also find value in match-making.  At Match Making firms make their pitch to a representative from a large business or government agency that buys what they sell.  Space for this valuable opportunity is limited.
