Current Open Call for BREAKOUT Session Presentations

Alliance Northwest

March 19 & 20, 2025

Submission Deadline: January 15, 2025

Conference Location: Greater Tacoma Convention Center

Alliance Northwest 2025 will be held in-person at Tacoma Convention Center in Tacoma, Washington. The event will attracts government contractors seeking to increase work within public sector marketplaces at the state, local, and federal level. In addition to two keynote speakers, there are up to 12 breakout sessions at the conference that allow experts in government contracting to share best practices, information on regulations, registrations or certifications. Sessions are recorded for later viewing on the event app. Each session attracts 40-100 attendees who are a mix of small business and prime contractors.

The event planning committee seeks speakers and topics that will meet the following objectives:

  • Attract attendees to the conference
  • Educate the attendee on a pertinent government contracting topic
  • Provide the attendee with information so that they are more likely to successfully compete in the public sector

Speakers that are selected to present must provide a workshop description, photo and bio by February 1st for inclusion on the agenda, in social media, and on the event app. Applications are reviewed as they come in. The planning committee receives more applications than there is space for at the event.

The following lays out the timeline and expectations for speakers at Alliance Northwest to provide the best experience to participants. It is your responsibility as a speaker to read and adhere to all the information made available to you by the Alliance Northwest Planning Committee and to comply with the Alliance Northwest Code of Ethics. Failure to meet these deadlines can result in incorrect or incomplete information being included on the event agenda or online event guide or removal of your session from the program.

Important Dates

Pre-Event Responsibilities

  • Provide Alliance Northwest with all requested information by the deadline dates listed.
    • Breakout Session Proposal Submissions Due no later than January 15, 2025
    • Selections will be announced via email by January 25, 2025 or sooner
    • Speaker confirmations including session description, Bio, and Photo due by February 1, 2025
    • Powerpoint due by March 6, 2025
  • Register for the event. (Speaker Link TBD)
  • Participate in Speaker Orientation (zoom or recorded) 2 weeks before the event

Day Of Session Responsibilities

  • Pick up your speaker badge at registration.
  • Show up to your session room 15 minutes before the start of your session.
  • Check-in with the room monitor for script, AV assistance, and direction.
